Pearl Maurer is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She studied nursing at Oakland University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau. In 1997 she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as an RN in a variety of settings from Neurology to Mother-Baby to Cardiology. In addition, she served as a nursing student preceptor and taught BLS and CPR for American Heart Association. In 2001, Pearl graduated from University of North Carolina with a dual Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Womens Health Nurse Practitioner. She worked in a variety of practices, eventually purchasing her own clinic. She owned and operated her clinic in Mesa, specializing in travel medicine, vaccinations and DOT/ CDL physicals. In 2011, her clinic won The Best of Mesa Award. Pearl is a United States Air Force Veteran, who loves traveling around the world, camping, spending time with her family, acting, sewing, playing.
