Your annual well-woman exam is the cornerstone of women's preventive care. It's dedicated time with your provider to review your health, complete a physical examination, and stay on top of recommended screenings. Your visit may include:

Frequently Asked Questions
Current guidelines recommend Pap smears every 3 years for women ages 21–65. Women ages 30–65 may opt for a Pap smear combined with an HPV test every 5 years. Your provider will recommend what's right for you based on your age, health history, and prior results.
